ABOUT THE ROLE
As the Content Creator, you’ll be responsible for creating engaging content on social media and digital platforms like WeChat, Little Red Book, Tik Tok in both Chinese and English. The content you create will be in the form of copy, short videos, GIFs, and data charts that share compelling stories and maximize user engagement. The successful candidate will be fluent in both English and Chinese, creative, and resourceful. This role reports directly to the Marketing Manager.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work with the marketing department to understanding both short-term and long-term marketing targets for each client
- Create and review content for social media channels, apps, websites, and public communication pieces 
- Optimize SEO driven content and increase the social media and site traffic
- Measuring and monitoring company website and social media traffic statistics
- Regularly analyze performance statistics to refine content strategies
- Brainstorm and suggest new ways to improve the traffic by tapping into emerging platforms and channels in China
- Ensure content is compliant with the copyright and data protection laws
- Maintain brand consistency in content and content aligns with brand values

QUALIFICATIONS
- Fluent in both English and Chinese (Mandarin)
- Must be able to provide sample work or portfolio
- Familiar with social media video editing apps and software
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as organizational skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and Google Docs
- Ability to work efficiently maintaining high quality and accuracy
- Goal oriented and customer oriented
- Excellent time management and planning skills to ensure meeting deadlines
- Comfortable with performing SEO activities such as content strategy, link building and keyword strategy
- Understand UI/UX design
- Able to communicate the message in simple and beautiful language which will attract audience
